Like we mentioned above, some of the world’s top chefs come from Louisiana. Some of these top chefs inlcude names like Sue Zemanick, Manny Aguello, Tory McPhail and many more. However, there is one chef that has influenced not just cooking, but entertainment overall. His name is Emeril Lagasse and he is one of the top chefs coming out of Louisiana. He is the owner of restaurants all over the worlds, some of which are the best US restaurants including the ones in Las Vegas. His restaurants are top class, something that is expected of a chef of this caliber. He’s popularity in cooking influenced USA casinos too. Some of best casinos in Las Vegas and other USA casinos included food-themed slots games amongst their other casino games. People nowadays like the idea that some of their favorite casino games are food-themed, including their favorite slots games.

New Orleans Food Recipes

The cuisine in New Orleans is exceptional. It mixes styles and flavors from French, Spanish and Caribbean cuisine, to create some of the tastiest recipes that even the best US restaurants include. Probably the one restaurant that has been influenced by the Louisiana cuisine and New Orleans recipes is the Nola Buenos Aires that we mentioned above. Some of these recipes include the famous New Orleans friend chicken that is served with homemade sauce that enhances the flavor. Another amazing recipe is the Gumbo. This is a traditional African stew that is served all year round, regardless if it’s hot or cold season. There are many versions of Gumbo, some include seafood, others include smoky andouile sausage or chicken. Some even make the Gumbo spicy with South American hot chilli.

The Best Restaurants in the USA

There are a lot of good restaurants all across the USA, but there aren’t many that specialize in New Orleans cuisine. New Orleans cuisine is extremely tasty and delicious. The best US restaurants have recognized that and have included it into their menu. Some of these restaurants can be found in Las Vegas, in their casinos. Almost all of the best casinos include a restaurant where you can enjoy these fine dishes. Besides the amazing food these USA casinos offer high levels of entertainment.

Like we mentioned in the paragraphs above, Gumbo is a tasty African stew that is served all year round in New Orleans. Over here we’ll try to make a short guide on how you can prepare it quick and simple

First you need to cook your meats. After that is done you need to reserve the cooked meats. Next up it is time to make your roux. Every once in a while check the roux and stop once you get to your desired color. After that is achieved stir in the vegetables and cook them. Now get back to the reserved cooked meat and stir them in too. After all of this is in it is time to add stock. Now that everything is in all that is left is to just simmer it until it is ready.

Keep in mind that these are just the basic steps. There are many versions of Gumbo, ones where you add seafood or thicken it with file powder. Depends on your desire and taste.
