The spice of New Orleans

Down in the South we have more than salt and pepper on the table.

Introducing, Tony Chachere’s, the spice of New Orleans.

Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning is the #1 most common kitchen product throughout the state of Louisiana.  Many at home cooks will not season their food with salt and pepper, strictly Tony’s.  It suggest to use it as a salt alternative.  So far, I have had about 10 jumbo bottles shipped here to Buenos Aires.  No joke.

So, why is Tony’s so good?  It’s packing flavor and spice!

What’s in it?  Salt, black pepper, white pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

How to use it?  Throw Tony’s in just about everything- stews, red beans, fried eggs (!), stir fry, cream cheese, jambalaya, soups, Creole tomato sauces, etc.

Tony’s comes in a salt free version.  I prefer this.  The regular bottle contains 30% salt, I find it a bit much.
