After a 20 hour bus ride from Huacahina we arrived in chilly Cusco. The city was grey by day and covered in golden lights by night fall.
The markets are always my favorite when traveling to new places!! We came to the colorful mercado Cusco daily for local produce, whips, and warm socks.
Before a nauseating 10 hour ride to Agua Caliente we stuffed ourselves with tall lemon pie and maracuya cheesecake.

Luckily there were local women serving THE BEST BROCOLI & BEANS EVER from wheel barrels while we waited on the side of the road.
