I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I limped through customs at Newark Airport with my Argentine crew (boyfriend + family).  It’s been 18 months since I left the big apple for a new life in Buenos Aires.  Yes, A LOT has changed.  I have changed.  As far as I can tell I’m the same skinny girl (woman?  young lady?) with a big appetite and Moleskines full of To-Do lists.  And although I am comfortable with WHO I AM, for the first time my current world will be meeting my old world.  That, my friends, is nerve-wracking.

I’m thrilled to admit that it was the BEST 10 days an ex-New Yorker could ask for!

The first week was LOTS of shopping, eating, iced coffees, museums, all hand in hand with the boy and my besties.

I was lucky enough to be staying in Greenwich Village a mere 2 blocks from Washington Square Park where I escaped to daily for jazz picnics full of NYCs finest takeout.  Could anything be more romantic…?

A big beso y gracias to all my NYC friends.  Y’all are totally worth the hefty plane ticket!
