2012 was a monumental year for me.

First full year living abroad in Argentina.  Drastically easier and better than the one before.

Real friendships were made.

I cooked more pork than I want to admit.

Long hair gone.

Spanish was spoken, and understood.

Ideas turned into business plans.

Business plans turned into success.

Success brought confidence.

Confidence sparked new projects.

New projects outlined small goals.

And here I am.  With my 2013 To-Do list.

But before I get too excited (who me?!) about my next adventures let’s have a moment to reflect…

Summer started with loads of asados and beach time.

Mexican Pop-Up was created and I became a pickling fool.

On my way to a catering event I slipped and broke my ankle resulting in a tragic 8 weeks.

But that didn’t stop me from seeing Roger Waters on tour.

.

My first BA visitors came down from NYC.  It was a really special moment.

.

We ate everything Argentina has to offer from empanadas to whole roasted pig.

Weeks later I headed to New York with my Argentino for his first USA trip.

.

NYC – - > New Orleans

New Orleans – - > Miami

And back to life in BA.

A trip to the Coast with my Parisian bestie.

Followed by the invention of PORK pie.

Nola started to become a reality.

Mustache parties happened in San Telmo.

Lulo juice arrived in Buenos Aires.

I was featured in two magazines and the local Sunday paper (!).

Rode a bike for the first time in over a decade.  ADDICT.

Started drinking homemade beers thanks to Francisco y Marce.

Sipped mate by the pool in the blazing heat like a true porteña.

Thoroughly enjoyed my tranquilo Christmas far away from home.

And ended the year with my favorite Argentino and my NYC bestie.
