I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I limped through customs at Newark Airport with my Argentine crew (boyfriend + family).  It’s been 18 months since I left the big apple for a new life in Buenos Aires.  Yes, A LOT has changed.  I have changed.  As far as I can tell I’m the same skinny girl (woman?  young lady?) with a big appetite and Moleskines full of To-Do lists.  And although I am comfortable with WHO I AM, for the first time my current world will be meeting my old world.  That, my friends, is nerve-wracking.

I’m thrilled to admit that it was the BEST 10 days an ex-New Yorker could ask for….

The first week was LOTS of shopping, eating, iced coffees, museums, all hand in hand with the boy and my besties.

Mexican and Cuban flavors dominated my palate in between greasy cheeseburgers and sushi.
